Just received the Frye Logan duffle, Good American raw hem jeans, and the Halogen cashmere wrap.

Tried everything on immediately, and all together, of course.

Frye duffle - This is a forever sort of luggage piece. I can see myself carrying it on weekend and overnight trips for decades.

Since this one's online only, a quick review. Quality is impeccable, as one could expect from Frye. It's made of a richly-pigmented pull-up leather, with one interior pocket. Should take nicks and scratches with grace. This was built to last. I've included a photo of it next to my cognac Fossil tote, so you can see how rich the color is. Keep.

Good American jeans - Damn if these don't look amazing in some of the photos, but I think they have to go back. They're are INSANELY stretchy and hug all my curves (maybe a little TOO much), but the rise is doing weird things on me. I can feel the crotch pulling down as I walk around, and I suspect it would only get worse by the end of a day. I think you can see it at least the last photo below. I'm also not sold on the raw hem, but I don't hate it as much as I thought I might. I'm hoping the other pair (slightly different fabrication) will be better when they arrive, because these are sooo close. Going to wear them for a bit to be sure, but I think... Return.

Halogen cashmere wrap - So beautiful. I fell in love with the color and texture as soon as I opened the package. However, I really have to mull this one over. I have an alpaca scarf in a similar color, and I have a wool poncho I usually carry on plane trips and for AC. Would this be a duplication or a great, statement-y addition? I also have a second scarf coming, and will only keep one. Think about it.

My other packages have not even shipped yet, but I have six more items coming: an Eileen Fisher scarf, EF ankle-strap shoes, the other Good American jeans, two blazers, and lounge pants. I guess they get here when they get here.
