Fair weather is predicted for today, so I can forgo the raincoat. Being from the SW, I really didn't understand how it can rain steadily for two + days in the NE.
RobinF: I got the raincoat for a trip to the west coast in Dec. because I'd heard it was an El Nino year and only wore it once. I'm really glad to have it with me, now.
JAileen: I hope to go up in the arch but we are meeting friends you live here and they have the day planned and I'm not sure includes the arch. I know what you mean about over wearing, I got sick of my purple vest and gray jacket on a trip to Italy, a month with only carryon, and haven't worn them since.
Suz: Thanks, I see the sun this morning so I have hope.
Firecracker: Thanks, the reflection in the gray mirror does mimic the gray days we were having.
Angie: Thanks. I thought a lot about what to bring and tried to mix comfort with style; hence, the sneakers. I have them in black and white - they work for my feet.
Ledonna: Thank you. Taking photos is a new interest and I have only been doing it on trips for the past two years.
Colette: This is our Art Museum Tour. We have been to four so far. We are finding out that there is a lot of beautiful art to see in our country, too. And an art museum is a great place to go when it rains.
