We had a hectic but very fun trip starting with our weekend stopover in Rome, then to New York, with a week in the middle in Florida where my mother has recently moved and my sister is heading toward right now. Here are just a few highlights:

1. Although we were in Rome for just 3 nights and 2 days I believe we managed to have gelato FIVE times.

2. Offset, in part, with a climb to the top of the Spanish steps. We walked all day both days we were there and got in much more touring than I would have believed possible.

3. Here are DDs in front of the Trevi Fountain.

4. We discovered that there is a beautiful Japanese garden in Boca Raton. I am super happy to be with my sister (I am holding wine she has sake).

5. Visited the High Line for the first time in NYC - highly recommended!

6. Outside the Museum of Mathematics also in NYC. It is a smallish, manageable and fun place for kids although they have over complicated many of the exhibits. Loved the enthusiastic math geeks who were volunteering there in the summer.

In the last picture I am wearing some of my new wardrobe items: blue Uniqlo silk sleeveless top (quickly has become a staple), harem style silk Allsaints shorts (consignment shop on the lower east side), and Alexander Wang metallic slouchy bag(!) I wanted a silver bag and splurged a bit on this (bought brand new with dust bag also at a consignment shop on the lower east side).

A terrific although exhausting trip, and some great shopping (yes there is more). Thanks for looking (and any kind of comments are appreciated)!
