Fun board to peruse! I'll have to take a closer look later. I am a fan of full-length pants and jeans, so I'm happy about that. I'm a bit tired of overly slouchy looks too, although I do like a little ease combined with some structure.
Nice to see velvet continuing to trend. I got a sage-colored velvet (velour?) jacket at Zara for $9 and snipped off the tie belt loops. It's a hint on the small side if I were to try to close it, but it doesn't even have a closure, so it doesn't look small when it's just hanging open. I figured for $9 I'd grab it to wear over a basic tee and jeans with some fab booties.
I like tall boots, but most of the ones I had got passed along because the heels were too high. I do have my sleek black Stuart Weitzman ones, and and old slouchy pair of taupe Fryes (not exactly trending right now but maybe worth hanging onto). I also still have an older pair of dark red Fryes but they also have a pretty high block heel. I've always liked the idea of knee-high cognac boots, but never found ones that fit me properly. Maybe this year.
