Trench Heaven. Want to guess which one I finally chose?

I have been looking for the perfect forever trench coat. My hopes and dreams were for a classic tan or perhaps a fabulous leopard print. I did a lot of online research and over time ordered 4 different trenches to try in classic tan (2 London Fog, 1 Burberry and 1 Mackage). All were lovely, but none of them were just right. I never did find a good leopard option.
While in NY and with DTwin by my side, we checked out some options. Being able to go into stores and actually try on trenches was soooo helpful.
I finally settled on a Burberry. However, I surprised myself. I did not go with the classic tan (honey) color I expected. I tried on several styles and colors. It took me quite a while to make my decision. DTwin and my sales associate were fantastically supportive and helpful. Pictures sent to DD, DDIL and DH for opinions were helpful, too.

Here are pics of the final contenders.
My trench is being altered and will be shipped when it is ready. When it arrives I will post pics.
In the meantime, does anyone care to guess which coat will be making an appearance in Maine?

The navy is gorgeous, but I'm crushing on #4 - the vintage check. I bet you got the midnight (#1) and I bet it looks amazing with your hair!

Jane, it was soooo much fun with DTwin! She has a Burberry that was given to her by her MIL. It is gorgeous. Since she already has one, DTwin was a great sport in trying trenches on with me....seeing the coats on her was better than seeing on myself in the mirror. I could see all sides and how the coats moved. Perfect for my critical eyes.
Murph11, oh I wish I could have bought 2! It was a tough decision. I was in the store for over an hour.

I own 3 Burberry trenches and the quality and fit is beyond anything anywhere ....enjoy and congrats .

Tough decision. I am never able to guess but I will go with the navy. I have a cream/tan Burberry trench. I love it.

#1 is FAB and i can see it going for years and years
#4 is WOW, and its just so perfect
#3 is unexpected and that alone makes it wonderful...
#2 is very interesting, but the side slit makes it seem a little less practical...so i'm eliminating that one...or maybe not...

Taylor, you are so fortunate. I bet each of your Burberrys get lots of wear. If dreams come true, someday I may get another (even if only to be able to pass one on to DD and another to DDIL).
Nemosmom, I can’t wait for the trench to arrive. I was shown a couple of different ways to wear it and am eager to try them.

LisaP, I have thought I wanted one for quite a while, but as open to other brands. Once I saw the Burberry trenches IRL and tried a few on, I knew I was in the right store.

Kkards, you see why I had a difficult decision. #2 has the ribbon trim at the neck and inside the side slits. The traditional checked lining and the ribbon both show when walking........soooo eye catching.

How amaaaazing to be able to see them on your twin sister! To get a full-around view of the garment in movement is such an advantage. I am actually amazed it took you only an hour. My bet is on #2!

I’m going to be a spanner and guess #3. It’s really unique and the plaid inserts have an almost leopard-like vibe.

Very fun post! It’s fun to read your happiness about getting a Burberry. Now which one will it be?

#1, in midnight navy, would be stunning on you.
#2, in that yummy soft apricot, is a very popular color this spring.
#3 would also be amazing on you; I am remembering you wearing a lot of cream and animal print, which, as JENN points out, is the vibe of the inserts.
#4 is quintessential, classic Burberry.

If I have to choose one, I’ll choose #3, closely followed by #1. But they are all gorgeous; I can’t wait to find out which one it is.

Chouette22, it was a lot of fun and pretty special. The staff, especially my sales associate was enjoying buttoning up the two of us. They had never had twins trying on trenches before.

SallyB, the navy is classic and the color very good on me. I tried on a dark khaki (deep olive) of #2 before trying the pink apricot. Once I tried on the pink apricot, I was surprised at how good it looked with my skin and hair. I would have guessed I needed more contrast.
Bijou, I thought of including pics of DTwin and I in the coats, but there were soooooo many. Hahaha.
Fifthandfinest what you say is true. When I was shopping I was planning on a forever trench, one I will wear until it is time to pass it down.

This is a lot of fun for me, while I wait. Thank you for guessing. So far, #4 is in the lead, #2 and #3 are neck and neck and #2 the least guessed option.

I'm also going to guess #4-but what fun! Maine has more trench appropriate weather, I'm guessing, so really you could justify more than 1
