If you are only going to pick one and it’s forever, the safest pick seems to be number 1. It’s a very classic style and color that will go with anything. However, with your coloring and style, my bet is on number 3. I think it would look truly fabulous on you and if I were in the store with you, I would probably pick it off the rack and ask you to try it on. It has the same classic look, but the mix of fabric adds a fun twist that I like with what I imagine your personality to be, especially in someone who is good working with children.

What a difficult question - they are all so fab!
I am guessing 1, and 2 as a close second...
Can’t wait to learn which one it is

ALL KILLER. How fun, Mainelady. WOW.

I bet they all look the bomb! I think you went with #3 or #4. But they are all winners and flop proof

Suntiger, I like the way you think. I’m going to start saving my pennies towards another trench.....maybe one with a wool lining.
Oh, Staysfit, I really like your comment about what you imagine my personality to be. You and my sister would get along well. DTwin found #3 and #4 and brought them to be while the sales associate was helping me try on different styles in solid colors.
Katerina, I know! So fab! Sometimes I think I would be better off with just 2 fab choices, instead of a store full.
Thank you Angie! I agree, all flop proof. I tried to imagine which one I would keep thinking about and regret leaving behind, as I made my decision. If DTwin didn’t already have a fabulous one, I would have twisted her arm to get one of these.....then we could switch them every 6 months!

What a lovely selection. I have two Burberrys one is from Harrods and is 35 years old it's stained and way too big for me. I have another which is only 4 years old. I haven't worn it much as I keep thinking it'll get stained like the other one , stupid I know.
I really like #4 , so cool.

Gail, wear the Burberry! Maybe it won’t get stained. It must be a beautiful coat, but hard to enjoy if it stays in the closet.

Oh gosh, tough tough choice.! Ant go wrong with any of them, but I’m guessing 1 or 2. Slightly leaning towards 2.

Gail, you may want to talk to Burberry , they may be willing to alter and clean your vintage Burberry...I know they will repair damage as long as you own ...lifetime repair actually on all leather , zippers , buttons etc. If nothing else they could certainly offer you some help .....sending you in the right direction.

So wonderful that your sis can serve as a model for you that is even better than a mirror image!

I vote #2.

Great selection - my guess is #1 (really just reflecting that I bought a navy trench last year and love it)

Elizabeth P, it was tough! Soo many beautiful choices. It didn’t take too long to narrow my choices to 4, but after that......
Taylor, that is great advice you gave to Gail.
Elpgal, yes! It was so much fun seeing how each coat would function when in movement.
Anne, reflection is good! You must wear your navy trench a lot!

Wow, these are gorgeous! I am going to guess #4 followed by #1.

My guess is #3. It's timeless but interesting with the panels, and I imagine it would go well with most of your wardrobe. All of them are amazing, though, and whichever one you picked will be a winner.

My guess is #2. I'm sure it would look perfect on you.

Robin F, the good news is that I couldn’t go wrong with any of the final 4.
Thank you CristelJ. Seriously, I could make each of them work well with my wardrobe.
The Cat, #2 has a very graceful drape to it.
Smittie, you and The Cat are thinking alike.

OK, ML, it's time for the big reveal!

Elizabeth P, as soon as my trench arrives, I will post pics. It needed to be altered at Burberry, before being shipped. And two special buttons were being sewn on......details with the pics! I haven’t received a shipping notice yet, so.......I am trying to be patient.

I think we're looking forward to it almost as much as you now!

Ohhhhhh... yes, I like the idea of you posting pics in whatever you chose. OK, I'll be patient.

I'm excited to see the pics!  In your honor I am going to wear my Burberry today to run errands !
Great suggestion from Taylor to contact Burberry about my stained/too large one. It's very sentimental to me as it's the first gift my boyfriend now husband of almost 32 years bought me when we met in London

Elizabeth P, thank you for your patience.
Gail, you look fabulous! Love your coat! I’m so glad you are going to look into repairing/reviving your first Burberry. It must hold some fond memories!
