This is my third trench coat.

1) My first was a black cheap version from Ezibuy. It was mid thigh and never quite worked on me. It was okay belted with minimal layers. It quickly showed wear.
2) My next was a thrifted 70s version knee length in a rusty brown. I passed it on about four years ago- maybe a year too soon... It was knee length and worked better on me both belted and unbelted.
3) This version - Sportscraft (Quality Classic Australian brand) - single breasted, bought on sale from consignment store in 2018.

Here two pics - one from today and one from early April. I always feel a bit messy in a trench and today's version is no exception. This scarf I am very fond of, but it is voluminous and maybe too much so on me. I think a smaller silk scarf or no scarf may be better. My hair is overdue for a cut and colour and playing up on a wet humid day.

I will keep the trench but it is not a classic/must have for me.
