I'm back from two weeks in Brittany with one week staying at my parents afterwards, packing a rather minimal travel capsule. You can read about the planning here. It was absolutely fantastic, more on the actual holiday later in Off Topic when I have time to select some pictures to post. I thought I'd do a short review of the things I took with me. Also four pics taken "in the wild".

The weather was colder than I thought, I only wore the shorts on one day (it was mostly around 20-23°C in the highs with cold evenings and mornings and a few rainy days). So I was definitely glad to have two pairs of jeans! The trekking pants where great to have too for being outside in the rain. Same for the rain jacket and trekking shoes. I wore my Birkenstock sandals a lot paired with the long jeans, comfortable in the temperatures and easy to take off at the beach. I wore my sneakers less often. I wore my two new striped breton shirts all the time over my tees and the cardigan got a lot of use too. I only wore the wool pullover in the evenings at home with my sleepwear, but it was nice to have for that. The crossbody bag worked out perfectly, easy access to get the camera out and waterproof. I didn't use the scarf once, same as in Scotland. I should have just left it at home. All in all it worked out really well.
