Hi there! It's been a busy spring, but I thought it would be fun to post my travel capsule for an upcoming work trip to DC.
The weather will be in the 70s and 80s, but I expect aircon in conference rooms, hence the two toppers: a blazer and a soft trench.
This is "polished casual" level of dress, so I'll toggle between oversized smart tops half-tucked into Levi's 501's and pristine tees full-tucked into (a new pair of) oversized pleated jeans from BR Factory. All with polished belts and smart shoes. Throwing a couple of more comfortable shoes in the bag for sightseeing.
As summer dressing sets in, it's always a fun moment to revisit this old post from when I first joined the forum in 2019: https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....-at-target. Lots of similarities in terms of color (team neutrals!) and style (classic modern!), but I definitely have come a long way in choosing items that are more elevated, cut more generously, and in better fabrication. Also: no more showing my shoulders at work.
