Hi all! (This is my first conversation!)
Angie's post about wide crops came at just the right time. (As usual, she is a mind-reader.) After years skinnies, I purchased two wide-bottom crops this last week. One, shown on me here, aren't strictly wide-leg, but rather crop flares from Paige. The others are soft but still structured-looking genuine cropped wide leg jeans from the Gap.
These are good choices for me because of their soft, stretchy, but still structured fabric and their seventies integrity. They will work for me with sandals, ballet flats, and white sneakers through the beginning of fall.
However, as per Angie's post, I didn't find good tops to match in my closet. Hence a trip this afternoon to Target, where I manage to find a nice capsule of sleeveless options. The silky black top will be for nights out, the eyelet white top will be for casual/everyday (sorry no link!), and the button-down denim-tencel will be for more formal daytime. Only the last requires a bra.
