Worn to work today. For those who have been following the thread on Naming Capsules, this would fit into my category of "(In the) Town". (As in, worn to work, so neither casual nor dressy.) And, since it involves a skirt, this would be the Lady, not the Gent.

But... following my inspiration as the Gentlewoman... I've been watching and loving The Crown on Netflix. And I'm pretty sure this was what QEII wears to go tromping through the heather, which makes it Country. Oh well, that's the least of our differences...

The raglan sleeved cotton sweater is Joe Fresh, the pleated skirt is Talbot's. I kept the leather winter boots on through the morning, so I could walk to the hospital at noon, then wore black quilted loafers in the afternoon.

With such an. "open" winter so far -- little snow, sidewalks mostly dry-- I have been walking outdoors if possible whenever the sun is shining. Which has its own footwear demands. And with that, I've been feeling my longer midi skirts more, whereas recent winters have been mostly pants (I just can't with pencil skirts and tights and static).
