Ooh, I like that first pic, Carla -- I can see you in that outfit! Fun mix of rugged and feminine.
I also like your utility coat.
I still find transitional toppers quite a challenge. In my climate, I can justify them more than used to be the case on Ontario (where it usually seemed too cold or too hot to wear them often) but they remain something of a challenge.
I do not know what is trending this year at all. I tend to wear my oversize cropped denim jacket quite a lot because it layers well over a sweater. I say "a lot" and mean -- a lot when it is not raining. Here, it often rains. So if I were you, I'd be wearing the lilac raincoat!
If it is cooler and I don't want to layer over a bulky sweater, I have my leather moto. Also if it does not threaten rain.
If a bit warmer and sunny, I sometimes break out the lilac gingham cropped jacket - but it often feels too "femme" or dressy for my actual life so it only gets a few outings per season. If it's warmer still, then I can wear my more classic fit cropped denim jacket. and/ or my thrifted summer blazer.
Other transitional outerwear -- vintage leather trench. Various raincoat type coats.
I don't know yet if I will try to wear any of these items (none new) in a new way.
I think it is no wonder you are done with puffers. You have definitely worn your puffers in a serious way -- and at a certain point, one tires of the same old same old. You'll wear them happily again next winter.
