I don’t have a red bag or scarf but wanted to put together an outfit based on today’s ensemble. First I tried my fringed blazer with a white layering tee, but the weight of the blazer pulls the neckline of the shirt down, and I didn’t like how it looked. I bought the burgundy Alfani shirt several weeks ago, when Angie included it in a roundup, so decided to break it out today to represent the red in the ensemble. I have a pure red shirt which also could have worked, but it’s sleeveless, and today was too cold for a sleeveless shirt. I’ll save that variant for warmer weather.

I love the Alfani shirt. It’s very comfortable and looks good both with and without a topper. It works with everything including jeans in several colors, work trousers, and skirts.

The jeans are dark blue, not black as they look in the photo. (good ole artificial light). And I didn’t realize the necklace was off center until I looked at the pic. Sigh. It wasn’t off center during the day, go figure!

Happiness factor was high in the outfit today. It was also very comfortable for walking around and for several hours of organ practice.
