To tuck or not?

Another family dinner tonight (having divorced parents means everything is done twice!), trying another "normal that hopefully works for nursing"-outfit. Wondering whether to tuck or not? At first I thought that it looks a bit sloppy untucked, but seeing the pics I might actually like it better that way...

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Floral scarf, grey loose top, black skirt, black leggings and red boots.

And thank you Angie! Altering days like this, seeing family and friends, with completely unplanned days spent in the sofa with cosy clothes covered in vomit helps me keep my energy balanced!

I vote tuck too.

You are doing amazing and taking in all incidences with great energy. Kudos!

But a quick unasked input from my experience. Parenthood is going to be almost permanent state now. Stay steady... It is a marathon.

I think it works fine either way, though tucked does have a nice lengthening effect.

I would not fret if you start out with it tucked and wind up with it untucked halfway through.

I think it looks good both ways. Speaking from personal experiece, I would go with untucked. Things always come untucked when you have a baby on you. Plus, it's less fiddling, both before and after, when you need to nurse.

Thank you everyone! I went with tucked and it worked all night, but I'm glad to know that I don't need to panic if it does come untucked!

Sara L - the top is wide and stretchy enough so that I can pull it down from the neck lining (does that make sense?), so it's easy to nurse! Tried that before I bought it

Mauvish - I treasure these days with slow pace, where we just follow Oskars needs and where I actually get a decent amount of sleep, knowing that everything changes quickly and that life will just be more and more demanding! But also more rewarding, I hope!

Sounds like you're making the most of the precious days with your baby -- and managing to get dressed and look fab, too!

I think I actually like the top best untucked, but either way, the outfit works well. The scarf and wonderful booties add a bit of color and flair, while the knits keep things comfy for moving with (and nursing) your son.
