Going for Easter dinner at my dad's tonight, with my siblings and their families - they all live in different cities but are back home now for Easter! And, about two weeks ago my partner and I had our first baby! Our Oskar came on March 10 (two days before my birthday!), everything went well and we are all doing great.

So, this is my first proper outfit other than the cosy pants and nursing tops I spend my days in! Our family dinners are very casual so this is probably a bit overdressed, but, I take every opportunity I can to "dress up"!

I have a few actual nursing clothes, but I try to find clothes that can function both while nursing and also after that time has passed (I'm thinking wrap-around tops/dresses, tops with buttons/shirts, loose tops etc. If you have other suggestions of what could work I'd love to hear them!). This is a "normal" dress but with a wrap-around top, so I'm hoping it'll work!

Black long dress, golden necklace and black tights/pantyhose. What do you think of the dress? (the sleeves can be full lenght, I think it's more comfortable like this but realise now when I see the pics that it might look a bit strange?)

Not sure which shoes to wear with this dress, I tried two different ones that suit this time of year when spring is starting to arrive but winter hasn't really let go:
#1 red boots
#2 brown suede "elf" shoes

Any preferences?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or comments!

And of course some bonus pics of little Oskar!
