to roll or not to roll

opinions please.
this is what i wore to work yesterday, but i couldn't decide if it looked right rolled. the pants are ponte knit, not jeans, if that makes a difference. i ended up wearing them down, but i was wondering what others felt, as this would be a ffbo that i could repeat.

I would not roll on these, simply because they are so gorgeous full length. Although I can imagine you with the same pieces, except with slightly oversized BF jeans, rolled, and it would be very pretty too.

I think it would work well with a slim roll, ending just above the shoe strap. That would create an unbroken line and still show off more of the beautiful shoe when you move. Or just keep it unrolled.

ingunn, hmmm, yes, looking at it now, i probably should try it with a smaller, lower roll.

From the pics I definitely vote unrolled, but I like Ingunn's suggestion.

I like them unrolled best - just simple and clean lined. I think it shows off the fab shoes better that way.

I'm not normally a roller (heh), especially on non denim, but I like both these versions - the rolled shows off the ankle strap; full length looks classic and elegant.

Agree with Ingunn and others- a little roll to show the ankle strap of those GORGEOUS shoes! Super sexy!
I would also add another element to tie everything together- handbag with leopard print detail, scarf, necklace.
Definitely FFBO material!

Both look very nice but I have just a slight preference for unrolled. Or a slim roll as Ingunn suggested.

Is that an Eileen Fisher sweater that you are wearing? If so, I think I have the same one.

I think both work. I would go for a slightly lower roll too like Ingunn. But it looks good the way it is.

susie, yup, its eileen fisher (in fact this is an all eileen outfit, as the ponte pants are also eileen fisher.) glad to know i have a sweater twin. its turned into an unexpected workhorse this spring.

It is one of the softest sweaters I have. I like the little pop that the stripe in the backs gives it. Most recently I've worn it with white jeans.

I have several EF pants but none in ponte.
