I came up with this combination a few years back, and have since improvised with a different blouse (removed the blazer) and different tie (courtesy of my husband's collection). I added a statement necklace this go round because it just felt right.

Please excuse the wrinkles, this skirt is silk and even if I iron it 3 times, it still seems to end up looking like I've been rolling around in it by the end of the day! LOL

Tie: Neiman Marcus
Skirt: Ralph Lauren
Booties: Levity (I really like their styles)
Shoulder bag: Dooney & Bourke

You look lovely! And yes, though I love silk, I have yet to make peace with the crease! A reason why there is no linen in my wardrobe

@Thistle You are oh so wise! Silk and linen are terribly prone to wrinkles!

@Angie Thank you much! I notice that I often bookend without realizing it! For instance, this outfit: My toes were already polished this color. I wonder if I picked out the color of the tie based on my polish, subconsciously!

@Tina I really am having fun with fashion! I was telling my husband today that it has become a full fledged hobby, and I now enjoy creating new combinations more than shopping. For me, this is truly progress! LOL

@Diane G Flared skirts/dresses have long been a go to for my pear frame. Just within the last year have I made a concerted effort to incorporate slim fits into my wardrobe. It's a work in progress!
