No notes but there are lot of vintage/designer pieces so if you are curious just ask!

You have an excellent eye for thrifting!

I especially like how the brighter colors really liven up your face in #1 and #2. And that purple/lilac color of the gingham blazer in #3 is simply lovely on you and perfect for spring. The blouse and jacket combo in #6 and #7 pair really well together too. You've got some lovely finds here!

I am curious about what appears to be the vintage jacket in #5. I like the piratical tucked in pants in #6/7. Gorgeous pea coat in #4. Very cool little gingham jacket in #3 that I am also curious about. And the mixed argyle sweater is gorgeous on you, as is the bright pink coat. Also, those big hoop earrings!

5 is my absolute favourite, the cut of that jacket is so good, and the subtle fur on the collar - very cool! 1 & 2 are my next favourites. The cut of your jeans is totally up my alley too. YLF!

YLF…the red is fab, but the cuffed jeans, the high boots and the balloon pants, an argyle cardigan (that I read somewhere is the next fashion “thing”). It’s all so good.

Thanks all! I have been frequenting second hand stores since university and working on and off in a charity shop (p/t) for over a decade, so I have a considerable advantage in finding fun pieces. Everything I am wearing in all of these outfits is second hand, btw.
Thanks Lisa! I definitely suit bright colors. The argyle is Eric Bompard cashmere, a stunning find at a thrift store several years ago (I am pretty sure I posted it before). I was shocked to find it!
Thank you for asking about my hair (and everything else) Suz . I am still letting it grow from the unfortunate incident last July. I like it some days more than others. So the jacket in #5 is vintage Miss V Valentino (vintage ready to wear line - still usually very reasonably priced). I have thrifted quite a lot of that over the years but this is one of my favorites. The pants in the last one are actually cropped and pretty much end where the boots begin but I liked the balloon effect. The pea coat is +J Uniqlo. The gingham jacket is a relatively recent find by Ichi Antiquites. I had never heard of the label, but am always interested in made in Japan clothing that looks high quality.

I love 1 - just a wonderful winter easy outfit elevated by a stunning sweater and great fit of the jeans.

Sal - Thanks! Those jeans were a surprise best find. "Just" Levi's ribcage straight that I recently found and thought I would resell because high waists don't usually work on me. But it turns out ribcage is not meant literally - who knew !
Suz - After I wrote you about the jacket I started a bit of a search I found this on ebay:

These are great! I occasionally stop in the thrift stores near me and rarely find anything interesting that would fit me, so I always admire the quality of what you find.

I have a fondness for argyle and am waiting for it to cycle back around, but maybe vintage/thrift would unearth something — the one you’re sporting here is excellent! I like argyle the most for me if it’s not too classic or has a twist.

I’m also intrigued with the pants tucked into the tall boots. I was at the Rack yesterday picking up a pair of boots I ordered to try weeks ago, and while I was trying them on, I spotted a pair of Splendid black faux suede tall(ish) boots that have a wider leg. I pulled them on over the drapey joggers I was wearing and quite liked the effect, much to my surprise! And they were super comfortable. The boots were a good discount price as well, so I brought them home to try. Seeing you sporting this look is validating!

What a nice thing to say pil. I am lucky that the thrift stores here are pretty interesting (and I am pretty persistent).
Thank you Bijou. I guess I have in mind being more experimental and not always relying on jeans to tame my outfits. We shall see .
I hope you will post yourself in the new boots with drapey jogger combination Janet. I have seen that sort of look pop up for years on and off and I feel like it is in an on phase. Vintage argyle sweaters are definitely the way to go. Honestly vintage sweaters are one of the best things to thrift as I say ad nauseam . Anyway, thank you!
