The weather has finally cooled off here in my neck of the woods. Thank heaven I worked in a 40F room for a year and a half, because cooler weather can be rough when living in an RV. I went to the thrift store today to look for warm sweaters/tops, and I followed Angie's advice.
It paid off big time
I started in the women's department and found:
* NWT Banana Republic wool cardigan
* Talbot's wool blend sweater
* OTT embellished white top (the bling is ridiculous and I was drawn to it like a moth to a flame LOL)
* Large Tall sparkly sweater
Men's department:
* NWT black merino wool sweater
* very good condition Scottish wool sweater
The men's sweaters will come in very handy as a base layer or under a coat/jacket at work.
The women's sweaters will come in handy for lounging around the house. I do a lot of that these days because that's how life is during the coronapocalypse. The blinged out top? No clue where I will wear it, because it's the coronapocalypse; but when I do have somewhere to wear it, I plan to wear it with distressed denim and edgy footwear because I like that sort of contradiction in an outfit.
I might not have checked the men's department if I hadn't read Angie's post today, so a huge THANK YOU for the reminder to leave no retail stone unturned
