I know it's early, but, for several reasons, I'm thinking of my summer wardrobe already.
- My spring will be cut short this year, by a 10-day trip to Orlando in May.
- I don't really like spring clothing, so I tend to purchase transitional pieces in fall.
- My 5-piece system lumps spring and summer together in one shopping season.
So, to help me start putting things together in my head, here's what I've been looking at. My wardrobe has been coming together over the past few years as a series of basic pieces in black, ivory, and ink blue, with touches of maroon, olive, and cognac leather. I like stripes, and I've also been adding floral prints, but I'm picky about them.
Sorry, none of these are Finds, but the bookmarklet doesn't work on any of the sites I've been shopping. I'll add them proper if I purchase. 1 is Nike (Converse). 2 is Orvis. 4 is Tieks. 3, 5, 6,and 7 are all Garnet Hill.
My current bottoms are in the Finds, and I also already own several summer dresses, but I feel like I could use something more on that front. I don't wear shorts, so maybe a cropped flare?
