I have asked YLF approval for Franco Sarto boots here:

As I received almost united "thumbs up" I decided to bite the bullet (I mean price) and buy them.
So today after work I drove to the store, tried them on again, tried 5 or 6 other pairs of boots (no competition there) and in the end these Franco Sarto boots came home with me! This is the most expensive pair of boots I have ever bought (almost $300). It was such a self-struggle and if not for my hubby's encouragement to spend this money I would never buy them.
Anyway I just wanted to share my excitement with you. It was too dark to take pictures when I came home so I will update this post with the pictures tomorrow. Stay tuned!!!

Hurrah! The kicker is that you tried on a ton of other boots and none of them compared. Oh and the other kicker is that hubby approves and encouraged you to get them. This is not some impetuous purchase! I can't wait to see them on you. You'll get lots of use out of them since they go so well with your style (think cost per wear!).

Yep, Anne, and those other boots were cheaper too! Actually I liked one pair of slouchy mid-calf boots too and they were almost half-price. It was tempting but I was firm about comfort and style! I also told myself that I am actually getting two pairs of boots with FS as I can wear them knee-high and scrunched down.

BTW, I just saw these boots on the Nordstrom website and they are $100 less then what I paid in TallGirl. Alas, size 12 is not there <sniff...> I guess I am paying this extra $100 for that size alone... so unfair!

Glad you got the Franco Sartos, if they are leather, you may want to consider leather conditioning them once in a while. And don't forget to pick up some boot shapers.

Yay, Sveta, I am happy for you. I never commented on those boots because the link wasn't working for me, but now that I can see them, I think they will be great for you. Very exciting! The only bad thing is that it's kind of reminding me how I want those Rory Souch boots
