What do you think of these boots?

I have tried these boots in the store and really liked them. They are pull on and can be worn as knee high and also can slouch down:

I am responding to your question completely from my own sense of style - I don't know you Sveta and so I have no idea what your style is about - but, from my own - I'll just be honest and say that I don't like these boots. The cut-outs at the top remind me of doilies that my Grandma used to make. They also for some reason remind me of the 70's. Not that there is anything wrong with Grandma's doilies or the 70's - but because of that they have an "old-fashioned" feel to me that I'm not crazy about! I'd much prefer a boot with a buckle or strap or zipper!

Those are beautiful boots, Sveta. I love the look of the leather and the classic riding style. And I love the gray! (Are you thinking of getting the gray or black?) I think the perforation gives them a neat twist. How would you wear them?

Oh, I reallly like these. I love the color and the ability to slouch tem is a big plus. I like the detailing, subtle in my opinion.

I like them and can picture you in them. I would combine with a trendy or even funky top/jacket.

Anne, I was thinking of grey - it looks more interesting than black. They reminded me of Frye boots from Angie's store in style (and I really like those - too bad Fryes do not come in my size :-():

Actually I was wearing clams when trying them on and reaqlly liked how they looked with them. I can wear them over skinnies when slouched down and with skirts/dresses either knee high or slouched (for above the knee skirts). However I am pretty new to the whole boot concept so tell me if I am wrong here

Marianna, it is my favourite store for shoe shopping: it is so nice when shoes in the store start with size 10 and not end with it :-). Unfortunately their selection is not very big so I feel pretty limited brand and style wise so I need to look for alternatives.

Those boots are gorgeous!!! I happen to L-O-V-E the cut-out detailing at the top. They will look amazing on your long legs!

Sveta, the versatile color and western styling are fantastic. Franco Sarto is an excellent brand - I have several pairs of FS loafers. Those boots will look great with everything!

Thanks, ladies. Seems these boots have almost unified YLF approval. I am going to the store tomorrow after work to buy them. I hope they still have my size - wish me luck

I'm late, but had to say that I really, really love these boots! They look classic and versatile, but also have lots of personality. They look like they could be worn with skirts and dresses, but also with skinnies and even boot cuts. Love the color, love the detailing on the top! You must post pics when you get them!
