In my online travels looking at gearish jackets to replace my totally un-breathable polyester rain jacket, I came across this style. I'm still kinda digging the peplum thing, even though the last peplum I tried was too deemed too high-waisted for me. This one seems to have a lower waist, is water and wind resistant, and can zip up two different collars for a pretty cool layered effect.
Is the peplum/fishtail too "out there"? Which color is better? I love the tonal quality of the red, but maybe the black is more understated. Or maybe the black is too biker babe? I have some trouble evaluating these things late at night...
ETA: Picture 6 is the jacket that needs a non-polyester upgrade.
