This is linen, midi-and red! :-)

Linen is not new for me, as said before, wrinckles or not, I wear linens in summer a lot!
But this is a spring skirt to me (lined) in coral red-colour I included not so recently in my wardrobe.
I had one piece of a coral cardi once, several years ago, and just rings in my ears what QueenMum (sorry she's not here now to see) said once about it in one of my early WIW ("this is your signiture colour, Lyn!":-))

I took notes:-) and so the coral slowly enterred to my closet full of neutrals and monochromatic outfits (see in the last 2 picties). Trust me, this is a lot of colour for me!:-)

I wore this skirt styled like below mostly to work excluding nr.18-21 which are a bit out of my comfort zone:
-Is orage striped knit clashing with the red skirt to your eyes, too? and then, with the blue shutter pleat top, which is a 3rd colour---this bothers me, too-but took a risk and showcasted for your feedback.

Oh I love that skirt! perfect color and length and fit

I liked it best styled with the blacks, like 1,2,3,15, 16 (especially 16)

It did not appeal with the beige, try the blouse in 7 without the jacket?

I see your wardrobe looks like mine, black and white with a hit of red!

I love the skirt, Lyn! It is fresh and feminine and feels very spring/summery! I especially love it in 14-16. 16 especially! Agree with Jayne that maybe without the beige jacket, it would be great with the blue top on its own.

It's a bit hard to tell onscreen whether it clashes with the orange striped top. I think maybe.....but could work with the right coordinating piece. I am not sure the jacket you have does the trick, though. Did you try that combo with the white jacket? And somehow the most tricky part is the sweater's band. So what about tucking and belting with that?

Those are more navys actualy (not blacks), Jayne. I'm a blonde -and actually found the olive ruffle blouse is going quite well with the corals for a matter (seen lots of animals with this red for ex. which also has olive in). Or did you say about the tan jacket?
(I, like MaryK said once- cannot really go to work without a jacket -but as am not a bold person, blacks and brights are not really an option for me, and just found this will do the job for my springy outfits, as a change from the whites or dark denim).

Late for return:-( as I already worn it a lot, but maybe have to ask here... do you pehaps think the gold(not shiny, just kind of blonde and texturred!) jacket is sucking out the soul of my outfits???? (I consider it a neutral as I have a slightly olive complexion in summer)

I think it's a great skirt on you! I particularly like it with that graphic striped jacket in 15. I would try the white jacket instead of the beige in pics 17, 18, and 21. And maybe try the striped jacket with the blouse in pic 7. I love the beige jacket worn in pic 12 - the soft colour really complements that blouse. You have some really nice options here!

I really like #1, #9 and #14. The tan jacket works as long as you wear black and other high contrast colours underneath it. Gorgeous skirt!

The orange striped top and skirt outfit needs bright shoes in order for it to work to my eye.

Has anyone spoken up for 3? I liove the touch of belt showing there! What a fabulously beautiful skirt. Red linen is NOT easy to find - any bright colors in linen, actually.

I like it with all the tops and the only jacket I'm not sure about is the one that looks sort of beige. The other jackets look great with it. To me orange and red work well together and so does the blue shutter pleat top!

I have to agree about brighter shoes-but what colour should that be? Do some very light grey ballet flats from last year count? I don't own any other brighter shoes, except perhaps some coral peeptoed wedge sling backs-which will come out to play from my closet asap and the sun shines in.

I opted this time of the year more on my closed toe pumkin wedges (which are fall shoes, of course) because spring was not that bright here till now-rather grey, rainy and somehow fall-ish. I'm the odd one who dresses the wheather alike, not agains-so I didn't feel like wearring lighter or brighter shoes at all, stll yet not up to date- and also felt like the skirt was enough of a springy colour per an outfit and brown shoes felt like downplaying it a bit for the grey days.

Oh, sorry but also noticed some grinnings and showing throughs in photo nr 1. You have to trust me, that is not my bra showing through! It's actually a grey cami underneath the blouse(opted for grey as blouse has grey in it, too-and wanted to lighten the top part of the outfit to make it more springy).
But I can see clearly now that a navy would have been much better.
Oh well, leave and learn:-)
