Thinking about going back to all black look

Hi ladies. I was largely absent this past year as I been dealing with major illness. Still not recovered but I am better and will probably be venturing out more.

First outfit was leggings and a miniskirt as you can see( both from BEBE store). I used to dress in all black years ago and thinking going back to that . This outfit is one example

Second is casual look to do errands, jeans from express store and 5 bucks top from teen department at Macy's
Third look is jeans from White House/ Black Market and jersey layered top from local boutique

Nice to see you again! So sorry you've been ill, but I'm hoping for continued progress and a full recovery! To look at you, one would not have any idea -- you look wonderful in all of these. A simplified color palette is a godsend for easy dressing when you have more important matters on your mind.

I think all black can look very chic. Maybe to give yourself some leeway, go to mostly black and see how that feels. I'm glad that your health is improving.

Very good to know you are feeling better and recovering. I really like looks 1 and 2. Something about your sandals in 1 looks very polished and glam. The colour of the top in 3.

All your outfits look good. The blue top is my favourite - such a pretty colour and it looks really nice on you. I also like the silhouette in #3.

However, if you feel best in all black, go for it. Sometimes it's just easier to wear only one colour, without any additional fuss. All-black can be neutral and very empowering at the same time.

You look fantastic in all black, so I can see how this is such a wonderful fall back style for you. That said, the blue top looks great too, so adding a bit of colour into the mix for variety is also a good idea. I hope you make a speedy recovery and that 2017 is a great year for you.

You sport all black very well, and that is not an easy look to do. You also look divine in a jewel tone, which conveniently pairs well with black if you want to give your all black outfits the occasional jolt of color.

So glad to hear you are feeling better. You look great in all of these outfits. I am sure the "all black" decision will become clearer to you in time. Forum member Deb (in Australia) was all black (or nearly so) for quite a while and then slowly and very deliberately added just a bit of colour and white in.

I love that first outfit! I really like the #2 & #3 also, but I'm partial to all black or all grey so #1 is my personal fave.
