These pants : keep or donate?

So I've had these pants for a couple of years and Angie's harem pants post inspired me to haul them out (I think of them as 'harem lite.')

I always find them too voluminous, long and generally overwhelming on me, which is why I have cuffed them in some of the pics.

Question : Should I keep these, or are they not my best look?
If I keep them, should I cuff or not?

I'm more of a classic dresser myself, so take with a grain of salt, but I think they look a bit big. I might wear them around the house for lounging. Love the peach color on you.

I love those pants but they do look like they might be a little long on you? The way they bunch up at the ankles makes me wonder that. The top and necklace look really nice with them if you could maybe have them hemmed. I'm pretty new at this though, so will be interested in what the others here think.

Thanks ladies - I tend to agree. I love the colour, but they are long, and a bit too roomy (not good on my already pear shaped frame.)

I blame the purchase on another girl beside me in the fitting room who said she would take them if I didn't. Nothing like a good case of FOMO to lead to bad purchase decisions for me.

@smittie I hear you, and I agree. Something about these is not drapey enough - they just seem a balloon-y. Maybe that's the problem I'm having...

Love your top, your shoes, your hair, your makeup, love the pants too but they look too long or a tad too big on you . Too bad though, as this is a great outfit on you.

@Lisap - Thanks so much, and I agree. It is a pity because i love blush with olive (and putting on these pants this morning, I immediately thought of you, summer olive queen! I remember you have a pair of olive cargos that are perfection.)

Truthfully, I'm relieved to retire something that doesn't work so well in favour of things that do; my wardrobe is too large for my liking (and still I keep buying...why?)

I love the outfit you've put together, but have to agree with others the pants look a bit too big for you. Can you shop for similar pants that fit you better?

Instead of cuffing or discarding, why not try to cut some inches off? They could make some really cool ankle/above ankle pants. Worth a try?

@chouette - they are really baggy, so I would have to have them tapered to look flattering at ankle length or above. And given the drape of the fabric, I don't think it would work. I think I chalk this one up to experience, unfortunately.

So I'm going to be the odd person out. But as a curvy girl, I am used to this fit and look in pants--and you can't beat the comfort compared to more tailoring. I think your cuffed version is brilliant! The key for me is the senderness of your ankle. Maybe wear daintier shoes, like pumps, or ankle straps with a low vamp sandal even if the heel is low to showcase more skin. Again, to my taste, this qualifies as JFE. The color and drape over your hips is lovely. You just need that tailoring at the (alluring) ankle.

Too long. I don't think they're necessarily too baggy (I think they were meant to be voluminous) but they definitely need to be shortened. If you're not feeling them...pass on. But I have to say --- I LOVE the whole outfit in #6. That's Casual Fab!!!

I like them as a casual weekend trouser. Question is, do you? If you haven't worn them in a couple years, you probably won't now.

Pass them on and focus on choices that make you feel fab and that you want to wear.

I like them when they are cuffed, and I like them a lot. Uncuffed, they look too big, but cuffing them makes the bagginess (is that a real word?) look intentional. Peach and olive is a great color combo and it looks good on you.
