Hello guys,
This weeks wiws. Still term holidays so no workwear, and a couple of makeup-free days.
Please note my apologies for the strange order of the pics. Will fix later!

Outfit 2, ruffled floral top with denim maxi and nude slides: happiness 9/10. Slightly hard to walk long distances in the skirt so it’ll never be a 10. This top has a lot of ruffles.

Outfit 3/4 , shown without and with topper, striped l/s top with Crane print, sailor blue skirt with nude long cardi, striped tote bag and nude loafers: 7.5/10. I did like it and the sailor skirt is fun, the overall look wasn’t exciting but still... not bad :).

*** some bonus spring bloom pics... I can’t resist sorry.

Outfit 1, maximal sleeve grey sweater, shag hem high waist black jeans and kingfisher blue boots: 8.5/10. I was surprised how much I liked this. This sweater is so much better with a semi tuck. It really made a difference. I didn’t use any bookending or accessories here but I still felt like the outfit worked.....

The flowers are so pretty but no prettier than you! I really like the neutral outfits in juxtaposition to the colourful blooms, esp. #6!

Suz, shevia: Thanks guys for the feedback for outfit three with the topper and accessories. Looking back at the pics now I think gosh that grey sweater in pic one is doing awful things to my skin tone.
Earlier this year I was integrating light grey into my wardrobe as a major neutral but I’m starting to have my doubts....

It seems strange to see spring flowers as the leaves change colour here.I agree with Angie,love the jumper in #3and #6is fab on you .You suit a classic look.

I like all these. I think the sweater in the first outfit looks fine without any accessories but a long pendant would go well with it. I've mostly phased out grey tops because I think I look blah in them. Not dead the way beige makes me look, but blah. I always thought grey was a nice soft neutral but I've finally decided that I should stop struggling so much to make it work for me.

Angie: Thank you. The semi tuck is becoming a really useful styling trick for me. Also I’m slowly coming to embrace neutrals/classic looks more as in pic 5/6.
Sarah L: thanks! Yes, light grey is proving difficult both in terms of matching shoes to grey pants, and being a little hard on my face. But still I love it in itself, so I may persevere a bit longer. Make up would’ve helped in pic 3.....

Gigi: thank you. The denim maxi is a very fun piece to wear. I don’t wear it often but when I do I feel a bit special for the day.

Jussi, the flowers are blooming in the West too, I have attached some pictures that I could not resist taking when out walking my dogs.

Your holiday outfits are so great, it is hard to pick a favourite. You are a natural beauty who does not need make-up. I really love how you do weekly WIWs, they are always inspiring and show what a versatile wardrobe you have.
