Here in the UK the Government is considering isolation for the Over 70's for FOUR MONTHS.

The idea is logical and will most likely come to pass. As I shall be 90 this year, live on my own, and have a history of heart problems I am in the "vulnerable" category. I am mobile at the moment and have a loving family. so am. possibly, better off than others in "my" category.

I like my own company; enjoy reading; studying; using my PC and various tablets. I have sorted out my wardrobe several times but will enjoy doing so again. I have started photographing my clothes and downloading the images on to Stylebook: I would like to learn a foreign language, either Italian or Spanish. (I studied Latin on line for four years). I intend to ask Younger Son to set up the WiFi as I have some enjoyable games I can play and exercises I can follow. I have Readly installed; also Prime and Netflix. My freezer is (always) full: I have groceries delivered and I can use Skype and FaceTime as well as the Messenger video on Facebook. My little rescue cat, now 15, is my constant companion and hot water bottle.

The times are certainly a-changin' but, as a race, we are adaptable.
I intend to adapt with them.
