The ink Tippi sweater is unquestionably a keeper. The rest of my JCrew order is up for K/R discussion.
Oh, I also got JRenee Tomlin pumps from Angie's picks, they are keepers too ! I got them in Taupe color which is really pewter or silver, they are comfortable and the heel is my ideal height (you can see them in these pictures - especially #9)
Tippi sweater in Neon Coral (1-3)
I want a pink sweater! I like the shape and fit of this one, what I am not sure about is the color on me. #1 and 3 are without flash and I think closer to real life color. What do you think?
I also can see another pink color on their website (heather rose), maybe I should try it too to see which pink is better for me?

Embroidered sweater in blush
I had such high hopes for this sweater! I was envisioning it with my winter white trousers and black trousers and grey plaid trousers... Well, it was a disappointment! I have ordered the same size as in Tippi but because the hem and sleeve welts are the same width as the rest they do not provide any structure at all. This size is definite no. I can try size down but it will not have a fluid fit then but more like fitted one. I am not sure I will try it as shipping and returns are not free...

Tulip sweatshirt
This was also from Angie's picks. I really liked the white on white texture and floral embroidery is superb.
I am not sure about this one though. It is a real sweatshirt material which is quite thick - is it fluid enough? I don't really wear sweatshirts and this was the first one I can see myself wearing. However it is not cheap so I need to consider if it would mesh with my style well. For those of you who saw it in real life (Angie?) - does it feel like me to you?

So what do you think? Any of those are keepers?

Honestly, I think the last one is the keeper. The pink does not wow me as a color on you, and the second one just has a boxy fit and looks like it is not well-cut. The last one is a great fit and has a lot of interest visually!

None of them wow me, but the white is not bad. The others don't seem like the right colors for you.

I like the first two better than the third, off-white one (I know, spanner). I actually like the coral pink on you. I like the cut and colors of the embroidered top but it sticks out on one side in picture 5 and that would bug me. I love the shoes. To summarize, I vote definitely yes on the coral pink sweater and shoes. The rest is up in the air.

I too think that the tulip sweatshirt is a keeper. It is a little more structured, but it also has some flow to it. I think it fits you very well also.

I think that the pink sweaters look harsh against your skin tone. You may be like me in that you cannot wear really vibrant colors right up by your face. Maybe a more muted pink would work.

I don't care for the embroidered top...to me, it makes your shoulders look broad, especially from the back.

Like the coral colour on you, but the white top fits the best and will probably go with lots of things you already own. I have the blush top with black embroidery. It IS boxy, and shape surrendering. Since I was in store, I got to try the sizes, and went smaller. I like it a lot, but wear it with my pencil skirts and slim fit trousers.

I am not crazy about this coral on you and would love to compare the other pink. If neither one works out, do not despair. They come out with new colours all the time and you will find keepers in another season. The blue is divine on you.

I LOVE the tulip sweatshirt on you. Super fun. BUT...I hear you on the texture. I was actually considering it (because I do adore the look of it) but it felt a bit "stiff" to me and I wasn't sure I would enjoy wearing it. I am curious whether it softens with wear at all. It's just a lovely look...so I would strongly consider.

For what it is worth, I really enjoy my sequinned sweatshirt from BR. But the fabric is soft cotton and is very fluid. Actually...to the point where I cannot stand to wear it with super soft trousers. I need my trousers to have a high degree of structure or that sweatshirt doesn't feel right. So that's another way to look at it. Try this sweater with a bunch of your trousers. See how it looks and feels with those.

I agree about sweater #2 but it could be worth trying the smaller size if you would like a fitted look. It's lovely.

Shoes are brilliant! (In more ways than one.)

Ok it's possible I just have poison eye for that particular coral/pink, but I don't love it for you, for winter or for what I remember you saying about narrowing down your colours a bit (right?). Is the pink sweater want just a random strong desire or did you think it fit your wardrobe in a particular way? Maybe you need to style it several ways and show us.
Agree that The 2nd one is not getting you (too bad for it). I like the look of the last one very much but if it feels weird to wear, maybe not.

I was thinking exactly what Una said. Love the fit, drape, and texture of the white sweater! I think I would like the pink better on you if it had less peach in it.

Sveta I do NOT like that coral on you! I noticed it right away on The Wall. Hope you don't mind my honesty. I like the cooler tones on you a lot. JCrew has a great pop pink they are using now, can't remember the color, but I think you would look healthier and more alive in it.

My hubby also did not like the pink sweater on me but I was not sure if it is because he does not like pink in general - men, you know...
Usually coral is a good color for me but not all shades. This has "neon" in the description so it may be too intense for me. Bother - it is SOOOO hard to judge colors online, no wonder a lot of people stick with neutrals!
This one most likely goes back...
The blush sweater goes back for sure - I do not want a fitted sweater and this is what it has to be for sleeves to fit right. Very weird style IMO!
I am still thinking about the tulip sweatshirt. I tried it with skirts and really like it - both with flares and pencils. I also like it with slouchy trousers. the only thing which holds me back is the stiffness of the fabric.

Suz, I knew you would get my hesitation about the tulip shirt. This is it exactly: I like it but not sure I will enjoy wearing it and there is only one way to check, right?:-)

Sveta, I wonder if you can Ask Angie and others -- I think Janet may have bought it -- somebody here did, I'm sure -- and they may have washed it and know how it performs long term.

It's quite a special piece.

Did you also try it layered over a button up shirt? Because that is another way I wear my sequinned sweatshirt and I like it surprisingly well. Perhaps that would help with the "stiff" feel? You could layer over silk OR cotton.

I really like the sweatshirt but I haven't seen it IRL so I don't know how fluid the fit is. I don't think the coral sweater is a good color for you, especially when compared to the blue sweater from your other post - that blue is perfect for you.

Sveta- I am surprised that I like the white sweatshirt on you so much, knowing how unlikely it would be for one to be part of your wardrobe. You look great in it and somehow it plays nicely with your tailored style. Angie has an amazing eye. Good point from Suz about seeing how it launders (if washable) from those in the know.

That coral is not my favorite pink for you (at least how it reads on my screen). I understand your disappointment as I can't wear that color well and recently tried a silk blouse from CM that reads more neon coral than my skin tone allows. You wear other pinks so well- the right sweater will surface!

Hi Sveta, I ended up returning the tulip sweatshirt. The embossed embroidery tends to snag and pill and I hear you on the stiffness even if you layer a silk shirt underneath. If it is worth your while, there is a personal mail box service in Niagara Falls, NY where you can have your on line shopping shipped. It is called CBI US and you pay $6.00 per box shipped.Hope this helps.

I love the sweatshirt. I've found sassy sweatshirts to be very useful... I'd keep this one. Looks great on you.

I don't think that shade of coral is quite right on you. Almost, but not 100% per your usual killer style, you know?

I love the ink blue (or navy?) sweater from another post and the taupe/silver/pewter shoes. The other items simply do not look as great on you. So unless you desperately need them, which I doubt, I say return. You have a fabulous wardrobe of clothes that fit and flatter, and are an inspiration to all of us. Adding less special items doesn't make a lot of sense, IMO.

Shopping is so frustrating!!!

The last sweatshirt is beautiful on you but it looks thickish and not fluid enough. It would have been brilliant with a more flowy material. The shoes are the best pick :). Not a fan of the pink or the embroidered one. They are beautiful but don't look quite right on you.

I wanted that white shirt so badly but could never get the size just right. It s a beautiful piece and I think if kept it you would get a lot of wear out of it as it would go with a lot of bottoms.

undecided on the tulip sweatshirt.
cbayna, thanks on the sweatshirt feedback, snag and pill is not a good thing for sure! I do have an US shipping address which I use (I live 1h from the border) but JCrew is not worth ordering this way. Package holding fee and gas and time exceed the $10 shipping fee they have. I use it for Nordstrom and Zappos though
I am still thinking on the sweatshirt: hope Angie will chime in!

I really like the tulip sweatshirt on you. I see though how it is outside your typical style, but I still think you could easily incorporate it. Don't you think the stiffness of the material gives it more heft and structure in a way?

I am leaning towards returning the tulip sweatshirt as well. cbayna's feedback that it snags and pills made me to look closer at the embroidery and I already see some loose threads there. What I learned from this exercise that I would enjoy having a textured white sweater so this I what I will be looking for.
Thank you for your help on this one, you did help me to come to a decision!
