I may have found it. The original shacket. This signature LL Bean chamois shirt was first issued in 1958. I tried it on at the flagship store and fell in love. It is heavier than a flannel and perfect for fall weather now and winter coziness later. I bought two. One for DTwin and one for me. The signature chamois tunic length comes in different plaids, too, but these days I seem to be crushing on neutrals.
LLBean sometimes runs a tad large. In many brands I prefer a medium. For this one a regular small had the best fit.
