Oh, I didn't even realize that you don't post your outfit pics on the forum. Since you participate so much on the forum, I guess I just meld the two into one in my mind.

I didn't mean to suggest that we shouldn't go on with the challenge. I'm just used to the person initiating the challenge to participate as well. I see now that you are in a different position being the creator of this site.

Thanks again for your kind and supportive contributions to the forum even when you are inundated with work. You rock! : )

I'm still in! I've been wearing grey this weekend so I'll be ready for a non-grey week!

Excellent!

If you can't manage the full week - no worries. I'll take three days. If you can do the full week - so much the better. Please post every day and start a separate thread for each outfit. I prefer to process bite-size bits of information :0)

The rest of us can continue to wear black as part of our outfits. PLEASE! No black outfit-rutting, especially for Spring and Summer.

Good luck, and I can't wait to see your k-word worthy outfits!

Angie, if you ever want to do this again, this might be more challenging in autumn or winter...with the 80 deg temperature and high humidity here this week, this no black might correspond to what people are wearing anyway if you disregard shoes/handbags.

When does the challenge start? I'm waiting for some non-black pants to come back from the tailor (they'll be ready June 2). They, and my recent colorful shoe haul, would surely come in handy!

Crazyone, a "no-black" challenge is a challenge at any time of the year! That was clearly demonstrated on this thread. But we'll definitely do one in Autumn and Winter too.

Amanda, you can start when you get your new pants - no worries!

Oh, yay, thanks!!! Sounds like fun!

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to do this piecemeal as my wardrobe and I are rarely in the same country together. My first outfits I think will pop the week of June 7.

Eeeek! I couldn't manage at all! At the moment, I'm still building up my winter wardrobe from a mish-mash of odd pieces, if I couldn't use black to tie them together I'd have to go to work half-dressed

Plus I love a bit of dramatic black and charcoal in the cold weather we've got here lately.

But I'd like to give it a go next time... looking forward to seeing how it goes for everyone else.
