Angie already admitted she couldn't do this challenge without feeling less-than-fab, so I think that is fair. I think the assumption is that you will be able to put together GOOD outfits...not just sub-par ones for the sake of meeting the challenge. After all, you still have your real life to attend to and who wants to leave the house looking like a sad sack in a crummy outfit? I'm sure I could do this challenge if I was willing to look less than my best, but I'm not.
Anyway, Angie is our teacher and guru and it's her job to challenge us and encourage us to try new things!
As for myself, I love black but a lot of times I go for black because it is the only color available or it is the best of all possibilities. If I see a fab dress that comes in black, khaki, and olive...I will go for the black. I do not wear khaki or olive and they look absolutely dreadful on my complexion, and I'm not going to pass up a fabulous dress that looks good on me just because I'm afraid of black rutting. How silly. If, however, that same dress comes in black, cherry red, and orange...I will choose cherry red (only because I haven't found a good shade of orange for me yet).
