I have to confess, sadly, that I am having a hard time with the blog's new display. More specifically : navigation between blog posts, and how to find the most recent post in the first place. It doesn't appear on my screen when I click on "blog". Instead, I see tiles which I generally shy away from because they confuse me (too many at a time without order). I mourn the sense of chronology the old display provided, it was actually part of the pleasure of coming to this blog. Reading the latest then go back in time added an extra layer of fun and depth to the latest entry. It also gave the sense of a surprise, like a candy you unwrap. With the new display, everything is revealed all at once and that pleasure is gone. I understand reading each post backward can still be done, but only through clicking, whereas before all I needed doing was scroll. I don't know why a click is such a psychological barrier when you're browsing.
Maybe this display pleases avid phone users, which I am not. But since I have been enjoying reading you assiduously since 2008, I thought I would let you know. Very sadly, I find I am not coming here as much, because of the frustration with the display every time...
Maybe I'll get used to it, though, as we all do with technology.
You have a wonderful blog that I have enjoyed following with great interest.
