I don't have any burgundy clothing, so I used a purse to provide the contrast to this outfit. I liked the colors together more than I expected, although I was secretly pained that the hardware on the bag didn't match my necklace. Happiness level: B

I missed tracking my outfits a few days because of health flare-ups but if I extrapolate out I get somewhere around 60-something unique items worn in August. Most of the repeats were shoes or bottoms; some tops only got worn once or twice all summer - which suggests that I have plenty of summer clothes and don't need anymore. Or at least plenty of summer tops! I think that a month like August would be a good one for a 30x30, since the weather is so consistent. Pretty much hot, all the time, and sandals.

I'm not doing any special challenges for fall, but I do want to keep trying to put together outfits based on Angie's past ensembles. Even when they aren't that successful, they get me thinking of unique combinations. We're expected to have warm weather for several more weeks so I probably won't do my fall wardrobe switchover/culling until around the equinox.
