Well....the dress has arrived. I love it, but it's little long in the bodice. (I think modgrl very correctly predicted this might be a problem with Nicole Miller.) My seamstress says she can take up the bodice and reattach the sleeves for about $50. I got the dress for a good sale price, so this doesn't bother me too much...plus she's a very talented seamstress and I totally trust her to fix it.

I feel VERY sexy in the dress....which was kind of the point! It's very body-con (especially in the bum area), but the allover ruching makes it feel a little less overtly bootylicious. Still....I'm not sure if it's flattering, or a little too form-fitting. Opinions? (DH loves it btw)
