I asked last week about grey skinnies. I have fallen in love, but was concerned about them being relegated to only the most casual of occasions. I decided to buy a pair of grey jean leggings at EXPRESS rather than the Paige Denim grey skinnies I'd initially adored. For about 1/4 the price, I figured it would be fine if they ended up only-for-casual.
I wore this outfit to run an errand at the mall and was complimented as I was walking away from my car, and twice more while in Nordstrom. I felt like a rock & roller (think Pat Benatar) going incognito - very cool, but keeping it casual. Apparently, it's a hit!
One of my favorite aspects of this look is that I've combined higher-end pieces with the less pricey jeggings:
