A while ago I posted about a mixed media jacket I bought from Aussie store Witchery and I fessed up that I was copying similar looks I had seen on Deborah and Greyscale.
During the week I had to go interstate for a conference and I took the jacket as part of my "travel capsule". I was very pleased with how it updated some of my older dresses, and I thought I would share the results.
Outfits 1 and 2 are the said older dresses that I wore on days 1 and 2 of the conference. You can see I took to wearing the jacket fully zipped up and with my bag slung cross body. I wore my Frye boots. These are a little bit rugged and would not normally be my first choice for wearing with a skirt, but I did not want to take more shoes than necessary.
On day 3 I wore jeans (it was a pretty casual conference). I wore a Free People top underneath the jacket. I really love the cuffs on this top, and how they peeked out from under the jacket. I am not so wild about the neckline of the top, so I layered over a long knit tunic that is a recent purchase from Aussie store Veronika Maine. The top has a sort of slit at the front - that's why you see the FP top underneath.
