Reality: I teach reading to second and third graders. They have sticky hands, they play outside, they use markers, pencils, and crayons. And then they want to hug me. Needless to say, when I wear the cream colored blazer (BCBG, purchased at the Boston Meet-up last year) to work, I spend some of the day with it off, so the shirt under it has to be able to be worn on its own. Reality: The off-white button-down works well by itself, so it gets worn with the blazer a lot. Pic #1.
Fantasy: I like the fun apple green tank better and I'd rather wear that, but no, no, no, this does NOT look good by itself - too clingy. I'll wear it when I don't have to take the blazer on-off-on-off all day. Pic #2.
Now for the real reality: I forgot to iron the button-down last night so I scrapped the whole thing and wore #3. Some days are like that!
