Here’s a topic dedicated to my favorite accessories; belts!

I usually wear basic leather belts in black or brown with all my jeans, they are my favorite and most are from Target, Gap, or American Eagle. I own two dressy/skinny belts as well. But I also like to belt my pants, denim shorts, and sometimes wear over a top or dress.

I’d love to see all the belts you wear with your outfits and how you style with them. It’s fun to get inspired this way! It can be super casual or dressy or anything in between.

Can’t help sorry Jessica because I never wear belts! Or almost never. I own about 3 but they’re at least a decade old. Angie did show a peep of one in her recent WIW thread.

I don't post wiw's but have been re-exploring belts lately. They really make my jeans outfits feel more polished.
I just have 1, a cognac leather one, but want to add a more formal black one (checking men's since they use real leather more often), and a western inspired hip belt to wear with things without belt loops.

I’m not at all trendy when it comes to belts. I like the good quality leather ones from Talbots. A lot of belts are either really poorly made or bizarrely expensive. They also have reversible belts so you get multiple looks from one purchase.

I am with Jenni NZ I never wear belts. The last time I tried one on to leave the house my kids asked me "why was I so dressed up"?!
I also skip them as they are one more thing to adjust in the ladies room.

Here are some frequently worn (1) and more occasionally worn (2) belts of mine. I have more, too, lol. I wear them with dresses. The red one and the brown one with the elaborate brass buckle are distressingly barely wearable at my current waist size. (I got that at a rather fancy vintage shop in Toronto and it caused some consternation in baggage screening on the way home… they thought it was a dagger in my suitcase!)

I have three beautiful belts hanging in my closet for nostalgia's sake, but I don't wear them anymore because of my vanishing waist. One is a gorgeous blush pink and cream, from Halogen, and the second is a wide brown leather belt with rawhide stitching that I used to wear over a denim dress. The last one is a very pretty black leather skinny belt, that has a loop instead of a buckle. This one actually has been worn in the last few years , because it gives a dress some definition, but doesn't call attention to my midsection. I admire belts, but don't wear them.

I have plenty of belts. I wear them mostly for practical purposes when my bottoms get a bit loose, not so much for styling purposes. Boring I know.

I love belts - don't post pix much however. I've lost some weight and now my pretty extensive belt collection is getting a lot of wear. I love belts and wear one most days.

My favorites are those I've collected from Madewell (3 maybe? basic leather belts - probably 1" I have brown w burnished silver buckle, black with horizontal oval brass buckle (I wear this one A LOT) and a narrow black with a shiny gold buckle. I wear the latter with dressier trousers primarily.

Another I reach for a lot is a black suede with a gold/brass (not shiny) buckle. Wearing today with camel Paige jeans, a black sweater, lots of bracelets, and a leopard neckerchief. I love all the accessories!

I have a shiny not patent Michael Kors with a shiny silver buckle that I wear all the time, mostly with jeans, and I got it years ago at TJ Maxx but I think it was a REAL Michael Kors. Beautifully made, has lasted forever. I've searched for a dupe to no avail.

I wear lots of other assorted belts I've collected over the years. To many to describe

I wanted a Western belt, and I bought one online...the buckle ended up being much bigger than I wanted! But it looks alright...I will keep it.

I love belts! I've always worn belts as a decorative accessory since high school. Self-belts, skinny belts, wide belts, shiny, all sorts of colours, suede, leather, embossed, braided, leopard, metal, chains, slung low on hips, or high around my waist. I wear belts with dress pants, jeans, shorts, and over dresses, skirts, and sometimes sweaters. These are my belts I mostly wear now (below), save a medium brown leather belt for which I don't have a picture, yet. I just bought the first grey belt this weekend as grey was a wardrobe hole for me and Brave had a sale!
