Thanksgiving and recent WIWs plus K/R (sort of)

Sharing some WIWs. Some were better than others. I think I'm partial to volume over skinny balanced with boots. I still like the BF jeans and crops for variety but those were my least favorites. Had fun with the dress and patterned tights--that's a new for me formula. Thanks for looking!
1. Thanksgiving (to host so needs to be wash and wear and functional.)
2-7: mix of skinnies, cropped pants and a BF look for variety. T shirt dress with patterned tights for fun.
8. Weekend.
9. 8R BR moto--sleeves too long.
10-12: 8p moto--sleeves good but not sure if body looks too short.

I think the new jacket is totally fab. The P looks like the right size for you. Does it feel long enough in the back?

Thanks, Ledonna, Bonnie and Janet! The asymmetric sweater is a fave of mine too. I love how it adds a little something to a simple outfit.
@Janet: The length feels fine. I just wanted to make sure since I'm usually always a regular when it comes to tops. While I'm barely a petite height wise--my torso seems to be more of a regular.

I don't think the petite jacket looks too short either. And the sleeves are definitely better. As for the outfits, they're all good. I wish i couod be that stylish every day! My favorites are #2 & #5.

Kelly, you always look polished, current, pulled together and comfortable in your uber casual wear. It's innate. And Oreo is a doll - just like her Mama.

Thanks so much, Angie! You are so kind and your ensemble posts are such an inspiration. Instead of shopping every time I'm uninspired, I just look through the ensembles to see if there is a new silhouette or color combo to try Of course, I still manage to do a fair bit of shopping still...

Thanks for this post-Thanksgiving feast (for the eyes)! What a fun group of outfits. You look fantastic in all of them. I can understand how you could have a favorite silhouette (long over lean with boots), but I must say you wear the cropped over boyfriend look just as well. I especially like #2. My favorite of the long-over-lean silhouette is perhaps #3, because I really like that unique hem on the sweater-tunic. The scarf is gorgeous, and I like how it brings together brown and black. The dress outfit is terrific--another winning formula!
I agree with Angie, the 8P doesn't look too short. The jacket looks great on you. And Oreo kind of steals the show from your really nice Thanksgiving look!

Thanks, Sharan! You are always so kind! It's fun to mix things up a little--as much as I like long over lean, it all starts feeling the same after awhile. It was fun to break out the BFs again--I feel like those haven't been getting much love these days. Same goes for the dresses--I do like them except for the whole hosiery thing. Big or small--they always end up in a constricting roll around my waist.

Thanks for the thumbs up on the jacket. I can't wait to get it into rotation. It's such a fun little jacket!

First of all love you in the dress and jacket(nr 6) Than, I love your layerings short over long (7&8).And the jacket looks perfect in petite! You always are so stylish, thanx for posting!

Long over lean and dress with boots are my formulas too - we think alike! I agree with you about the monotony, and I think that's where my sudden desire for print and pattern or unusual cuts comes in. I'm also trying long jackets instead of long tunic sweaters.

You look great. I love the jacket.
