Very cool! I just checked out the video and was psyched that the verbal description was so easy to follow... But I'm setting a daunting task before you here. Could someone please tell me exactly how much/how far she twists the knot, and exactly what the resulting knot is supposed to look like? Is it sort of like a print letter H (i.e. two vertical pieces hanging down, but withthe the horizontal connective part looking kind of twisty)?

You are most certainly welcome Taylor!! I luv spreading new info around. When people compliment me on something, I just immediately want to tell them where I got it from and how cheap I got it for!! LOL!! I read somewhere that you should just smile and say, "Thank you," and let them think you are a fashion genius. Not me, I want people to know how to be fabulous too!! Taylor, next time you wear a scarf that way, attach a photo to this thread!!

Michelle - twist it 180 degrees. I guess it kind of looks a bit like an H. To me it more looks like braided bread! Here is three pics of me sporting the look all with the same scarf:

Michelle, it looks like a bit of a twisted H actually. The video demonstrates two ways you can twist the scarf loop to achieve the same effect (essentially one using the right hand and one using the left)

Method one - you push your wrist down through the scarf loop, lift up the loop (causing it to twist essentially) and pull the loose scarf end through the loop
Method two - using the hand on the side your scarf ends are, twist the scarf loop outwards, once. then pull the loose scarf end through the twisted loop

I hope that helps!

Thanks, guys!! All your descriptions are fabulous. Louise also sent me a PM describing an even easier alternative way to achieve the same not -- Louise, I'm talking up your brilliance and am going to share your trick. Hope you don't mine!
Fold scarf in half and pass one end through loop, as usual.
Instead of twisting the knot, though, simply take the remaining end, pass it over the top of the loop and then feed it through the other side.

I just tried tying it that way and the 180-degree-twist way, and my results were indeed the same.

AJ, I unfortunately can't get much benefit from pictures because I'm totally blind, but your verbal description was most informative. Thank you for that, as well as introducing us all to this fun new knot!

I didn't put the two together when you were asking for more detail descriptions. My apologies! I am glad that you figured it out and can now be all the more fabulous with your scarf tying skills!! BTW, Rose and Joan are the middle names of Julie's two daughters, if I recall correctly.
