Thank you Dress Challenge. 3rd dress this week.

I am enjoying this challenge so much. It is a lot of fun to see all the dresses and styling of our Fabbers! I am also enjoying the nudge to put on a dress. The weather is quite fickle and we seem to be on an every other day pattern of decent days and days when layering is still required.
Anyway, this was yesterday’s dress. DTwin took me to a JMC store and I was thrilled with how many dress styles had sleeves. I tried on 4 different styles and this one was my top pick. All were beautiful, fit true to size, very well made and available in multiple prints and a few solids. I chose this dress for the 3/4 sleeves, subtle pattern and the pockets.
Yesterday was a happy day but a long one and the dress served me well. Pure comfort, no bagging in the butt and looked just as fresh when I took it off as when I put it on.
I topped the dress with a jacket DTwin passed on to me, which felt like the perfect choice and was an extra happiness factor.
1. Plain and simple.
2. Blingles and bug bites.
3. DTwin topper.

I would be happy to have some suggestions for styling, if you are inclined to offer. Thanks for looking!

What a terrific, versatile dress! It fits you like a dream. I really like the cool, neutral pattern. It's a bit hard to see your necklace in the photo, maybe try a bolder necklace? But what a find!

Pretty! Did you not own a beige or cream moto? I think that would work well here too. My first choice would still be that navy topper though :).

Great dress = looks super versatile! The fit is perfect , and I think you've styled it well. You could try a casual look with a flatform sandal ,denim jacket and chunky acetate jewellery....

What a great dress - I love that pattern. I like the subtle necklace and shoes - great bookending with your hair! As a neutrals gal with pretty similar coloring, I may have to steal your look!

You look great as styled! That print is so nice. It makes a great backdrop for your fab accessories. I wouldn’t change a thing! But if you want to switch it up next time a bright scarf might be fun.

Thank you all so much. Your comments make me smile. DTwin has a couple of the JMC dresses for winter and I really like them. Of course those are not available just yet, but I will be happy to give them consideration for colder weather.

Lisa P, thank you. I am going to use your idea of a chunkier necklace and a denim jacket. This dress can definitely go more casual with the right styling.

Oh, wow. Thank you Angie. Surprisingly, this outfit came together Rey easily. The blue jacket from DTwin just kind of called out to me and presto, I was dressed.
CardiffGirl and Shevia thank you. I like bold and I like prints. The other three dresses I tried were all beautiful and had bigger prints. I kind of surprised myself with the more subtle pattern. It is more demure than what I often choose, but I am really happy with it. Perhaps I am getting ready to evolve again.

Thank you KellyGirl and Rachylou. The dress has a few very well placed seams in the back that really help with the fit.
Suntiger, I almost wore metallic gold shoes. I have mettalics is gold, silver and bronze. Each pair will probably get a trial.

What a winner! The print has white in it, so you would pair the dress with a white topper for a more summery look, also.

Becky, you are right about the white. I am looking at my white cardis and thinking they are ok. I really want something different.....I haven’t quite decided what yet.
