Ted Baker Floral Purse - Anyone Seen It in Person?

I bought this as I love Ted Baker, but I am sized out of his clothing line.

I could use a summer bag. I only switch my handbag out seasonally, so it'll see A LOT of use.

I am torn.

The pattern is quite pretty.

BUT. There are no little feet on the bottom. I set my bag in my desk drawer every day, and any bag without feet has started to show wear on the bottom.

The leather felt more like pleather to me.

Maybe I'm just spoiled by Brahmin bags as those are all I've carried for seven years. Or maybe the quality really isn't there.

Would love to hear your thoughts on it if you saw it.

I have not seen it in person. As a general comment, if you know it will get a lot of wear, put it through it's paces. (If your drawer is a problem, maybe get a piece of felt to put in it, to protect the bottom of the bag.) A lot of quality has suffered in recent years, so it may be you will not find a bag that matches older bags. If it ends up being disappointing, you would be justified in eschewing Ted Baker bags in the future, or at least scouting for a better style... Best of luck, it really is pretty and I would love to see you carrying it!

I really like the colors (pink and grey - duh.. ). I recently ordered a Ted Baker wallet. The leather does feel weird and unleather-like. It’s very pretty, though. I’m not keeping it because of its size doesn’t work for me.

One of my personal "rules" about NAS is that if I have any concerns about the quality, based on my expectations, then I leave the item behind. For this, it makes sense to try it with your things, and then decide if it truly meets your expectations. I've ordered and returned many items that looked amazing in the catalog on on-line, but were lackluster in person. I also look at non-NAS items in the same line, to get a sense of whether the NAS item meets the same level of quality, or if it was something that was produced for NAS, but at lower quality.
