Hello YLF!
I have finally worn my new Maggie London dress bought in Feb to DD's first dance recital last Sat. I think this is the longest I have ever had anything sit around with tags on but the weather promptly turned cold after I bought it. i think the tights here might look a bit heavy but it was pouring rain and 50 F so I choose them for warmth. Thought I'd post after being inspired by Angie's frock post. The hem catching on the tights drove me crazy reminding my why I am a warm weather dress wearer (no hose! i dont like wearing them and so I have very few pair so then I dont have any to match well with things... catch 22 story). Bonus pic of DD getting ready to dance.
3-5 experiement in unstructured structure. I wore the same shoes (magenta ankle strap sandals) with 4-5 (sorry no photo) as in 3 but showing the forearm and (dare I admit it) a hair of midriff in motion from the knotted waist felt much fresher in 4-5 than in 3. Not sure how the jean cut (skinny vs bootcut) plays into that feeling of being more on trend but wanted to share the musings for those tryign to figure this out.
I felt like #1 and #4 outfits worked, 3 was ok but not super fab. Feedback always appreciated!
