This green (called Willow Green) tunic is from a line I rep here in Canada called LNBF (Leave Nothing But Footprints) . I don't wear a lot of the pieces as they aren't quite "me" (but then again, what IS me anyways??) but I do like this dress/tunic piece and decided to get myself one in this colour. I have to admit I cringed when I first saw the line sheets for Spring, featuring this green and an equally odd pinky-melon shade, but it's really growing on me. I knew it would work with my hair and skin tone, and one needs to break out of one's black/grey/navy/olive rut, right? I only wish it looked as good on me as it does on the model, but what can you do? She's obviously a lot taller, but my mirror is also distorting the length a bit. The mirror is on a tilted mount, and doesn't give a true image or show proportion accurately. (sometimes this is a good thing *wink* ) if I don't have it perfectly straight up and down. My tunic hits me on the one side just above my knee and I don't think I look quite so squat in reality . I do see though that a heel would have been better, but I had a lot of running around to do and thought I'd try these crazy mules. (and yes, I'm in on the joke with these , don't worry) . In my office, I switched out the day coat for a soft cropped-bell-sleeved long cardigan (also from LNBF ) which is my new favourite piece .

Worn with a older lined, open day coat from H&M, a newish printed scarf from BR, a older green suede bag also from BR , and leggings from C'est Moi. Crazy fur lined mules from Steve Madden. Earrings from Anthro. Oddly exposed pictures to show colour and detail better. Even more oddly exposed pic (this one not intentional) of my head to show new hair colour. That too is growing on me, but not quite what I had in mind when I had it done last week. Whatever.

Comments, jokes, helpful suggestions always welcome!
