I read last year that blur and marble prints were going to be “a thing”. I really love blur and marble prints so I got very excited. I went in hard and early, as Aussies and NZers say, and bought 3 blurry tops. Since then I also added a marble print skirt.
To me blur, marble, ombre and tie dye are all part of the same family. As a result of these purchases and my tie dye project, I am now awash with abstract, blurry, arty prints. Happy days
Yesterday I wore one of the blur print tops. It is a mix of teal and purple. After buying it, I decided it was a little too grey for me (you can see the original version in the Find below). Because it is cotton I was able to overdye it to a greenish teal. It worked out pretty well. The pattern is more subtle now but you can still see the purple. (The blurry pattern is more obvious in person but it is mid winter here so I’m fighting for light.)
Also, I’ve gone copper for the winter.
Thoughts on blur and marble prints?
