I'm back in a relationship with the colour taupe. Wearing the usual = rain boots and rain jacket. I felt I blended quite good with the November weather today.

Hope all is well. I am reading and enjoying the forum, but not participating as much as I would like too. The posts should have a "like" button! Or maybe not... very freeing to omit that. But I do read and appreciate your contributions. Here's one of mine

Nice coat. Taupe is the only shade of brown I can wear. Had to zoom in on the boots to make sure they would clean up easily. Now you can go ahead and jump in puddles.

The absence of a like button is one of the best things about this forum.

Yes, so true. Don't add any new buttons!

The wellies are several years old and clean up easily with magic eraser sponges (Angie tip). But I'm out of them!! Need to get a hold of more. Those are the best.

I think of the little 2-word comments as the equivalent of “likes”. They don’t say much, but do let you know someone looked & responded favorably to something or other.

Your ability to make great looks out of “found objects”—everyday perfunctory items—continues to be great. And I love the site for this little photo shoot. You blend in, but only in a very good way

Janet, too funny! I never know what to do with my hair; it is thin, uncooperative, uninspiring. Hence why I love hats... This style is one of my very small repertoire that looks like I tried, that looks done. Lol!

I love the polka dot jacket and the repetition of white in the boots, jacket, and I think also earrings (?). Another fan of the high bun, too.

Taupe is my favourite colour to wear. And metallic grey (heh, guess that would be silver... ) I knew this intuitively long before I learned that I in fact AM cold coloured (?).

Maybe it's the hand placement & the earrings, but the top bun feels very Audrey Hepburn. Funny you say that your hair feels thin, because it looks thick & luscious here!

What a great outfit for rainy weather! You look fantastic! I love the white boots with the white detail in the raincoat. Fresh looking. I'm also a huge fan of taupe. I don't wear it as much any more now that my hair is grey but when I had dark blonde hair it was one of my main neutrals. I still wear it now, just not as often.

Yes, I felt the 'do was a nod to the 60's, but it could easily also just be "washing lady"

How cool that you like the rain jacket. I am always on the lookout for fun and interesting rainproof outerwear. This is from a local consignment shop. The golden rule for me is that the shell fabric should be nylon, not polyester. Much more weather proof.

The cat: I just recently noticed these. They can be found in the larger grocery stores, by the detergents and cleaning products. White sponges. They are truly magic!!
