I am a dressy girl at heart, and I few opportunities to wear the outfits that I most inspire me. However, my holiday capsules, even the most casual ones, lift my spirits while I'm going about mundane tasks like grocery (ugh) shopping. Here are a couple of examples:

1/2: Light Black and Festive: Recognize the dressing room? I'm in Target, trying on workout wear (found two nice sleeved tops). I'm wearing my new Loft jacket (so glad I purchased this, and also glad I sized down). I wore the jacket with my ON dark wash skinnies and a short sleeved black top with a burnished metallic detail. I liked the mix of tweed and metallic. For extra fun, I wore chandelier earring. Yep. To Target. The dark grey of the crystals and the length of my hair keep it from being to jarring, I think.

3/4/5: It's hard to photograph this deep purple cardi. I love this piece. It is smooth, but slightly weighty and warm. I wore it with the same top as in #1, and topped it off with layered gold tinsel (necklaces) and earrings that resemble snowflakes. This look, while not quite as distinctive as the first, is one I'll use this season for at home moments with family and friends. Pic 5 highlights some inexpensive rings I found at ON. I've never worn stacking rings, but now I know I'd love a fine jewelry version!
