Only fair for me to go first, I suppose. I think I could have done all five of these outfits with my Elizabeth Suzann dress, but I don’t really see myself as that person who wears the exact same thing every day, so I tried to be a little more diverse. Just a little. As my wardrobe shrinks, I’ve been wearing more and more black, and I love it. Shoes, bags, and toppers pull a lot of weight in my closet, so I’m thinking about how to use them (along with some more avant garde shapes) to make my black ensembles interesting.

1. Running Errands - I went with jeans, a feminine dark floral top, and rugged boots and tote. The bag is nice and big for stashing groceries or library books.

2. Date Night - A sleek and simple column of black with a burgundy faux leather jacket and dark red lipstick.

3. An Important Meeting - This is the same column of black (ponte pants, silk tank) as before, but with a long blazer (I know it's hard to see, but it's the pinstriped Halogen one in Finds) and more refined suede booties. And a leather tote.

4. A Wedding - Simple silk dress, pumps, clutch. You can’t see them, but I also have on my mom’s pearls.

5. Working from Home - My no-distractions outfit. Jumpsuit, messy bun, shoes optional.
