Thank you for the kind comments and the reassurance that these all don't look the same.
@Slimcat: Thank you. The knit moto is surprisingly versatile and is so much cozier that the leather. I’ve gotten lots of use out it over the years!
@Cardiff girl: Thank you! That is so nice of you to say. I’m definitely enjoying dresses more than usual this year.
@rachy: Thank you. I need to utilize color in actual outfits instead of just buying it and looking at it! haha.
@Mainlady: Thank you!
@ChristelJ: Thanks! Those OTKs were an irresistible HEWI. I don’t wear them often but they fit like a glove and I love them! I’m taking baby steps out of my comfort zone--like trying to incorporate more color and texture. Wear some of my dressier stuff with less dressy pieces to tone them down.
@kkards: Thank you. I’m in love with that blazer. I thought it was pretty dressy but it doesn’t feel dressy without the matching pants.
@nemosmom and runcarla: Thank you. I’m glad that formula dressing doesn’t read as boring. As much as I would like to look stylish every day, most of the time I just want to look appropriate and not stand out too much.
@Torontogirl: Thank you! It’s so funny because I see signature styles in everyone but myself!
@Angie: Thank you so much!
@Jenn: Thank you! Yes, that’s absolutely it--I think I get bored wearing the same uniform every day and that is what drives my purchases except that many of my purchases perform the same function as what I already have. I think that’s why I get kind of stymied making new combinations. That scarf is from Target last year, I think. It’s Universal Standard--I think I even had a post on it because it was such a great find!
@Sal: Thank you! Still love my ponchos!
@shevia: Thank you!
