I’m so happy the month is over! SYC is doable but not repeating—that is a challenge! I knew I was a uniform dresser from the get go and this just confirms it full stop! As much as I think I crave variety, I’m lazy and fall back on wearing the same things—sweaters, jeans, boots with a midi thrown in here and there. I think I could use a jeans refresh at some point but for now I’m going to hold off and try to get some wear out of my midis which provide the coverage I like for cold weather and for work. Might even expand my comfort zone a bit since looking at my outfits all together—they all look so similar.

The Uniqlo skirt matches my navy sweater perfectly—who knew. I thought it was too plain to wear together but i loved Suz’s 2 piece dress so thought I’d give it a try. Wore this to take my dad to the doctor and felt very appropriate! Pulled out the Topshop faux leather skirt that was part of my Cruella de Ville costume—a bit wrinkled but hanging now. Not saving the sparkly pink skirt for an occasion. I think it will work with Docs and my denim jacket. I think I’m officially SYC now—looking forward to further exploring my closet! Wanted to add that the puffy in 5 is new. It's Uniqlo and I love how the collar can be left up or tucked and snapped on the inside to create a v neck. My office is freezing and I wanted something less puffy than my black one which I swear I will retire some day.
